A creative view of branding

The low rising winter sun lights up jet trails
casting their shadows upwards onto the high altitude clouds that have the appearance of rolling waves.
Over time, the jet trails disperse and fresh ones appear in new positions.

I took this shot from my office window in the early hours.
It struck me as an apposite visual metaphor of branding.

A brand differentiates. A brand is distinctive. Brand values elevate a business above other choices.
Then a brand heads off on a set commercial trajectory to fulfil or perhaps exceed expectations.
If well conceived, a brand leaves a unique and memorable impression.
